Ferrari Owners Club Indonesia began their 2019 yearly agenda by doing social charity work . This Saturday, donation will be distributed to YKAKI or Yayasan Kanker Anak Indonesia.

The Prancing Horse community commenced the day of charity in the early morning. Around 7 am they gathered in Senayan and drove together in a convoy to Salemba. 60 children with terminal illness wore red Ferrari T-shirt and were waiting for them in front of the gate. As soon as the cars arrived, their eyes widened with excitement and their smiles brightened the day.

After short speeches and a singing performance from YKAKI kids, Hanan Supangkat, President of FOCI, handed over a symbolic chèque donation to the foundation representative while the members distributed gifts to the children contributed by several companies owned by Ferrari owners such as Rider Underwear and Standardpen.

“True devotion is not about grand expensive gestures or lavish display of affection but a commitment and consistent dedication to those who need our help. FOCI has always set aside some funds for CSR program every year. In 2017 we donated to 1000 orphans in Tanjung Priok. This year we already donated IDR 100,000,000 to Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB). Today we donated IDR 60,000,000 to Yayasan Kanker Anak Indonesia (YKAKI) and next month we will give more to 4 foundations of orphan andnursing home in Surabaya.”, said Hanan.

In addition to the charity, FOCI also arranged Ferrari fun rides for the children at YKAKI. " Ferrari is a dream. People dream of owning this special vehicle and for most it will remain a dream apart from those lucky few, a statement from Enzo Ferrari. So we hope this experience will give them courage and positive energy to fight their cancer.” Hanan added.

Around 10 Ferrari joined this occasion, from the classic 360 Modena to the current range like Ferrari Portofino and GTC4 Lusso T.
