Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale: Breaking Records

16 November 2023

Ferrari's limited-series special edition, the SF90 XX Stradale, has achieved a record-breaking lap time at Fiorano for road-homologated cars. The certified time, 1.4 seconds faster than the SF90 Stradale with the Assetto Fiorano, was set on October 16th during the official International Media Test Drive in the presence of leading automotive press worldwide. The SF90 XX Stradale, driven by Raffaele de Simone, Ferrari Head of Development Test Driving, was equipped with carbon-fiber wheels and Michelin Cup2R tires.

The announcement of the fastest-ever lap at Fiorano by a road car was made today. The SF90 XX Stradale, a new limited-series special based on the SF90 Stradale, achieved a remarkable time of 1’17.309”. This sets a new record for homologated road cars, surpassing the previous time set by the original car with the Assetto Fiorano package and the same tires by 1.4 seconds. Raffaele de Simone piloted the car during the test, which took place on October 16, 2023, as part of the SF90 XX Stradale media launch test drives. The lap was conducted in front of international press members who had the opportunity to engage with the model's developers and observe the factory's performance test preparations. The time and telemetry were independently measured and certified by a specialized third-party motorsports agency.

The SF90 XX Stradale will be showcased at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, along with an exhibition corner providing detailed information and insights into the car and its record-setting performance.
